BOLD, BRIGHT & NEON
“The reports are in and it’s official: the future of fashion is bright.” This Season is not for people that fear colour, with bright colours flooding the spring runway. Spring and Summer 2022 is a wave of bright cheerful neon colours for daytime or for a night on the town.
For some people bright colours may be intimidating to bring into your spring wardrobe, but starting small is key, try incorporating neon accessories like a bag or a pair of heels, and you’ve got yourself a statement piece everyone will notice. -Dandelion Chandelier

The mini skirt has once more been seen by some of the top designers including Miu Miu, Fendi, Prada, Versace, Dior, and Moschino. This Y2K staple is it this spring.

With fashion trends coming and going it can be expensive to keep up with all the new and latest trends from season too season. The need for trendy clothes at cheaper prices has become so popular that companies have been mass producing and manufacturing clothes in order to satisfy customers. Fast fashion has become so prevalent in the modern fashion world, offering customers cheap prices for trendy pieces.
One way to save money, stay on trend, and not support the fast fashion trend is to buy local, and buy vintage. In the fashion world everything old is new again, and with so many trends coming back in style from previous years, the perfect way to find sustainable on trend clothes is to shop second hand.
Vintage shopping is one of my favourite ways to stay on trend and even better is budget friendly. Some of my favourite second hand stores are Front and Company, Mine & Yours, Wildlife Thrift Store, My Sisters Closet, and MiMi Shop. Most second hand stores support local charities, so why not give back and give vintage clothes a second life.
