Now that we are slowly starting up our lives again after this almost unreal lockdown period I wanted to show and tell a story that shows light and ease for a fresh new start. Summer is coming, we leave bad times behind and can start with a new open mind and free spirit again on our journey.
Rebekka Eliza, fashion photographer born dutch, living and working at the Portuguese coast. In her work, she wants to show the pure beauty of women in a simplistic, feminine, and natural way. Rebekka loves to use soft natural light or artificial light that gives the same impression. The tones in her work are soft tones including beige nudes, or black and whites.
Since Rebekka has a deep passion for the ocean and the coastline, many of her campaigns and editorial work she photographs is set in Portugal, where they have the most beautiful raw coasts and natural beaches. She is also drawn to and inspired by the beauty and spirit of the Balearic island Ibiza, where you can find sky blue waters, small beige toned stone beaches, and wooden fisherman's houses.
Before starting photography Rebekka has been working in the fashion industry as a designer for many years. She got the opportunity to see and travel the world and work with a lot of creative people. By accident, Rebekka discovered fashion photography in 2018 and instantly knew this was where her heart really belongs.
