Inspired by a photo of a performance executed by Dora Maar in front of the Gradiva gallery in 1937. I wanted to create a series of looks that feature classic beauty in the idea of paying homage to more silhouettes from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s while picking the location similar to where the strewn bodies lay on the gallery entrance. Creating old world elegance with the edge and powerful styling and imagery comparable to the Alexander McQueen campaigns and the looks giving effortless outdoor beauty like Brunello Cucinelli campaigns.
