I am Alycee Byrd and I am a natural light fashion photographer. For this shoot, I was inspired by the song “FROOT” by Marina. I wanted to play up the idea of women’s bodies being compared to fruits. My goal for this editorial was to find a way to turn these comparisons into a contemporary concept. To shift this fruity judgment into something more whimsical. I decided to use fruits not as a comparison but as a means for inspiration by inspiring each look off of a specific fruit. This way the model remains the focus the fruits are not defining her. Harmony has now been created between the two.
