The idea came from the fairy tale The Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I wanted to create a metaphor for the surreal world of Alice. But instead of a mirror, I used glasses of water. The water in glasses of different shapes is interesting not only because it creates different optical effects. It represents the reality that can be changeable.
